There are two restaurants on Spring Garden, both that have awnings which reach out over the sidewalk. One of these restaurants has been in Halifax for quite some time and is very popular. But my bitch is about the pigeon infestation that literally leaves the sidewalk littered in birdshit everyday. It is absolutely DISGUSTING! Walking through that underpass is DISGUSTING!!! I see that they have nails to try to keep the pigeons away but those obviously don’t work. CALL A FUCKING EXTERMINATOR AND GET THEM TO PROPERLY PIGEON-PROOF your fucking awning. Please. If your awning were not there, that section of the street would not be like walking through pigeon shit alley. Not to mention the fact that you are a restaurant, and it is obviously unappetizing and unsanitary to be accosted by birds while entering into the establishment. —Sick of Walking Around Birdshit Haven
