I’m new to biking so sometimes I need to push my bike up a hill, or take a break, but If I’m on the sidewalk I’m next to my bike not on it. I’m obeying the rules of the road and every time I have to push my bike into the grass because you idiots are apparently too good to use the road all I can think is how much I wish I could fine you. —Quinpool is Wide Enough for All of Us

Like Atticus said, you have to be in someone’s skin to REALLY understand their point of view. When you stop pushing your bike and are actually riding on Quinpool you might have a better understanding of why they’re on the sidewalk. I’m not a sidewalker myself, but I get why someone would be.
I agree with you 100%, OB. Those other cyclists can go fuck themselves.
sidewalks were made for two things o.p., walking and idiots. which category do you wanna fit in?
many cities have sidewalks widened for cyclists and walkers to share. Many of these designated routes rarely fill up with walkers because most of us are too lazy.
Downtown is a different story, the sidewalks aren’t wide enough, and there are too many people.
