To the man who stopped his car on herring cove road, rang my doorbell, and told me my lights were on – thank you. I had to go pick a friend up from a music lesson about a half hour later and my battery would have been dead for sure! He has a stand up bass and that would’ve been terrible for him. I meant it when I said that was nicest thing a stranger has ever done for me. Good karma is all over the place for you! Halifax needs more of this. —Thomcat

How does a bass stand? Given it has no legs and it’s tail doesn’t have the capacity to maintain an erect position, wouldn’t it just fall down, flopping around? And these music lessons, are they underwater?
stand up? ahhhhhhhhhhhhh from yuck yucks! i knew there was something fishy about this bass.
Not all bass are stand-up guys. Big Pussy Bonpensiero was a rat.

Unfortunately the vid cuts out before the Eurotrash terrorists seize the square, but , chances are, there’s an off duty American cop somewhere in the crowd, so it all ends well.
Thanks Ivan. That was a wonderful boost to my Sunday morning 🙂 Took me way back to my younger years.
Talk about an Homage to Catalonia >; )
Did you ever visit Sabadell, Hugo?
The city square reminds of Arras, where the monument to the First World War is pockmarked with shell hits from the Second.
Ivan – Just Cadiz, had to work that weekend so I didn’t get to see much.
Repost – I’ve had 7 years of classical music and orchestra, and performed internationally.
It was a beautiful day in Fiuggi, so we had our concert practice oudside, it went over quite well with the locals. Ode to Joy is a staple of any orchestra, so we did that one too. Seeing the video took me right back, thanks again.
You are most welcome. Between watching that and seeing a skein of honkers heading north this morning, I can almost believe that I’ve survived another winter.
