I don’t know if you can just bullshit your way through an interview or if your work-related references were just friends posing as your bosses, but somehow you convinced us you were a fit. We hired you but had to let you go after eight days. You just couldn’t get it. Eight days later, and you were still struggling with duties that you were trained on the first day! When I told you I had to let you go, you accused me of being a shitty trainer and that eight days was not enough for ANYONE to do this job competently. Then a few weeks after you parted from the company, I find out you emailed my supervisor to tell him you were wrongfully dismissed, and that I was a fucking sociopath with no empathy and expected the impossible! Then you call the owners of the fucking company and tell them the same thing! Are you fucking kidding me? The owners, who don’t know me very well since it’s a large company, called me in to chat, thanks to you! Do you know what an ordeal it was for myself and my supervisor to convince the owners that you were just a fucking incompetent little shit?! This admin position ain’t fucking rocket science. I did this job years back and learned the duties and routine within a few days. Other people who have held this job also only took a few days to get the hang of things. You didn’t get fired because I’m a dick who can’t train, you got fired because you are an idiot, simple as that. You didn’t have the cognitive ability to do this job well. If it was my training, then why the fuck were you the only one out of the four people (who were employed in this position in the past) to not get your fucking head around it? Self reflect, buddy, and stop blaming the world for the fact that you just suck. You’re a loser! —Sociopath, my ass

Another fake bitch. No one in a managerial position would ever come on this board to write such a bitch. At least anyone who is professional.
And if by some slim chance this is real, then the OB is an idiot.
yeah, either fake or fucked up. even i, would not waste my time writing something like this. but if real, then person who got sacked, must have a very low mentality. because as o.p. said, admin is a pretty fucking easy gig.
You guys think this is fake because no professional would write this? I think you need to check out some of the comments on ratemyemployer…
I think the OP needs a reality check. This is your fifth person and yet you wonder why they all leave you. Ho hum, maybe the owners are starting to wonder why they hired you. The wheels are starting to turn …….
It might be fake, but maybe “admin position ain’t fucking rocket science” means “burger flipper at mcdees”?
Maybe you should be angry with the owners – who appear not to trust their employees in these situations (like you), ergo feeling it necessary to have chats with you whereby you have to vigorously defend yourself, including bringing additional defenses…?
Regardless of whether this bitch is fake or not, one of the things that sticks in my craw is the idea of references. I’ve been involved in hiring people numerous times and I’ve provided references for people. There’s really no consequence to providing an inaccurate appraisal if the reference works for another company so how can you believe what is being said? And I wouldn’t be at all surprised if a desperate manager gave a better than deserved reference just to get rid of a problem employee.
Whats worst is when HR ignores obvious red flags and hires sociopathic bitches that fuck up a good work environment.
Eight days is not long enough to make an informed decision on whether or not to fire a person for incompetency. Some people get off at a rough start, but vastly improve after several weeks. That’s why most probationary periods are three months. You didn’t even give this person a fucking chance, asshole!
You remind me of a boss I briefly had in the past. This bitch fired me after four fucking days for “being incompetent” at my first accounting/admin position I got after graduating university. I was given a crash course for ONE day by a guy who was the most half assed, impatient fuck I’ve ever met. It was buddy’s last day and he simply didn’t give a shit anymore. He barely showed me around the company’s accounting system. Then he fucked off early and I was left with collections of over a hundred overdue accounts, all by myself with no assistance. Then this total C of a boss comes up to me and has the audacity to rag on me for not keeping up with the work. I kid you fucking not, her words were “Well it’s been four whole days”, her explanation as to why I should be a speedy gonsalez pro on top of it already. What. The. Fuck.
Ummm I think this person got fired because you ARE a dick.
Reading between the lines of your bitch, it becomes immediately apparent that you are a supreme douchebag.
You know, I know of a bitcher who got fired after they posted a work-related bitch, OB. True fucking story.
Sounds like you’re not one to talk about deficiencies in the IQ department. At the very LEAST you have poor judgement, and you’re already on thin ice with the owner of the organization you work for… what in sane hell would possess you to write a bitch with enough details for someone involved to piece this together. If I were you, I’d send a swift email to the mod requesting they take this bitch down and hope no one involved has seen it because in the wrong hands, you’re gonna end up tossed out on your arse into the unemployment line.
PS: maybe you have shitty training skills. It’s hard to ‘get’ the duties of the job when the person training you is a moron.
I agree with Breakfast Sandwich’s PS remark. More often than not, if someone gets fired for incompetency, it’s because they weren’t sufficiently trained.
The 3 month probationary period has become the 3 month “We can fire you if we want”, joke that now runs on an entire generation whom are illogical and don’t have a clue as to where to start to even gauge things in terms of both learning, and teaching.
Add to that the new attitude where it’s somehow O.K to see someone as a threat (thinking someone is “inferior” by first impression, and then not letting this view go away).
See what you want to see OP; that’s what you sound like to me.
I’m with mostly everyone else here. It doesn’t sound like the trainee was at fault; it sounds like the trainer (the OP) was.
You can train practically anyone: if you fail to train, it’s probably your fault as a trainer, not the trainee’s.
