To the man driving the black SUV making a left hand turn from North Park to Rainnie Drive last Wednesday. You almost hit me as I walked with the legal right of way across Rainnie Drive. I waited as I should for the Walk Signal. I was about 4 seconds into my crossing when you decided you’d attempt to zoom around past me, narrowly missing me, forcing me to stop dead in my tracks to avoid getting run over as your tires skidded around in the snow zooming by me. Your female passenger seemed to throw her arms in the air with panic. After you careened your way by, I looked up to see the walking signal letting me know I had 13 more seconds of right-a-way left in my favour. You ruined my normally peaceful walk to work. You traumatized me and could have killed me or maimed me. I shook in terror the rest of my way to work thinking of what almost happened that would have changed my life forever or ended it right then and there. Make your choice. 1/ Learn the rules of the road: Pedestrians have the right-of-way when the light is green in their favour and you are making a left hand turn across their path. 2/Rot in hell. —Law Abiding Walker

  1. I’m going to assume you are bitching on here only because you couldn’t get the licence plate number to report him to the police.

hope you are doing better OB

  2. ALMOST doesn’t count ….. now, had you been hit then the trauma would set in ….. you made it safely so be thankful and let it go …… find your center …… diddle yourself on you lunch break …. whatever….

Why are you harbouring such hate a week later?

  3. SUV + black + (green light – driver’s interpretation of green light) x female passenger = Total moron.
