I was desperately trying to make it to the airport on time. My car was broken down on the side of the highway. I was cold and crying with my thumb stuck out. You stopped, even though you don’t normally pick up hitch hikers. You drove me to the airport, where I was only a minute late to greet my boyfriend. You saved the day! —Damsel in distress
