Just over a week ago, I was on my way down to the bus stop in Woodside/Dartmouth when I slipped and fell down a steep icy hill. I heard a snap and sure enough I had broken by leg so badly I could see the bone bulging out. I laid on the side of the road for quite some time, yelling, waving, trying to get passer-by’s attention. A number of cars drove by me, saw me, and still didn’t stop. But eventually, you did! You and another lady helped me into your car and you drove me right to the hospital. I am so incredibly grateful for people like you! Not only did you save me a very expensive ambulance ride, but you reminded me that there are still kind-hearted and genuinely good people like you out there. You even called the hospital later to see how I was doing. Well, in case you ever read this- I’m OK! thanks to you ๐Ÿ™‚ โ€”clumsy/grateful girl

  1. Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I did happen to read your entry in the Coast that week! I have to say I am just so happy I was in the right place at the right time, and seeing that you took the time to write an entry about the whole experience was very touching. Hopefully you’re all healed up and back to 100% these days! Just wanted to let you know the message was recieved ๐Ÿ™‚
