This horse used to be your “baby”, you took care of him all the time, but now that he’s not a race horse anymore you just fucking abandoned him. You don’t do his stall, exercise him, or nothing. That’s why he tries to attack everyone he sees! All he needs is someone to love him for who he is, not for what he was, but I have news for you. I’m taking care of him now, and I’ll make him happy, you should be ashamed of how you treat this horse, and the worse part is I don’t even have time to take care of him. I have my own fucking horses to look after. I’m doing the horse a favour, but you can just go fuck yourself. —Busy and Caring Horse Owner

  1. You go ahead and do that horse all the favors you want. If you need help, you should contact the “Black or White” OP from yesterdays bitch board. She might be interested in helping you with the horse favors.

  2. Ok, see now you’re just being species-racist, INFY. lol
“Black Over White” OB: “I’m done with human. Equine is bigger”

    “Equine is bigger”

Depends on the colour of the horse… 😀

Convert that horse into glue. Give the meat to the nearest asian.

    You fucking racist!
Everyone knows the dirty Frenchies eat horse meat…
    😀

  4. this is the same with the greyhounds too…
once their rewards are reaped, they’re cast aside. poor animals…

I’d ask for a sad song on the violin but the bow-string is made from their hair…
    🙁

  5. This goes for everything. Men and Women in relationships will be cast aside if they don’t pull their weight. People lose their jobs when they don’t change with the times. Old dogs get put down. You can’t get all up in arms about an old horse. Life goes on, until it doesn’t. Make yourself useful or you shall be cast aside as well. Use it or lose it.

  6. “Make yourself useful or you shall be cast aside as well. Use it or lose it.”
When did this turn into a life-lesson class, coach?

  7. aw this bitch made me feel sad.

Thanks for being nice enough to take care of that douchebag’s horsey..

  8. A warty pox on anyone who neglects or mistreats their animals – when I divorced my idiot now deceased ex, I insisted on taking the horse he used to train with a cattle prod (oh, the arguments we had over that poor horse but Ex-Arsehole-Unit had a show jumping career, ya know – the cruelty in that ‘sport’ is fucking unbelievable, other than expecting a 1200 pound animal to leap over a 6 foot fence) – the poor horse was eventually claimed by my trustees in bankruptcy a year later but I was able to give him a year of love and comfort and was permitted to make arrangements for an excellent home where he grazed for the rest of his everlovin’ days.

  9. All kidding aside, what this bitch is about is the neglect (abuse) of a racehorse by the owner who can’t be bothered to look after it now that it’s no longer bringing in any money. To say, “Oh well, that’s life. No sense getting up in arms over an old horse” doesn’t fly with me. This is out and out neglect and it’s illegal.
Do you think it’s right that this animal should be made to suffer, cooped up in it’s dirty stall with no contact or exercise, just because it can’t run like it used to? (And although the OB doesn’t say it, I would think it is probably a safe bet that if it’s not being exercised/cleaned that it’s not being fed properly or getting regular vet checks, either). There are so many other options for this retired racehorse than being “cast aside” to die a slow, agonizing, hellish death. It could be used on trail rides, summer camps or in petting zoos. There are several centres that now use horses as therapy animals for people with disabilities and there are even some police forces that are recruiting retired racehorses as part of their mounted patrol. There ARE options. And like zZz has stated, it’s like the retired greyhounds. When they reached the end of their career either by injury or age, they used to be shot and in some extreme cases, stacked in crates and burned alive, all because the tracks/owners/breeders couldn’t be bothered to find homes for them, because, this costs money. Thankfully, most, if not all dog tracks in N. America and the breeders are working with rescue agencies to have the retired dogs placed into good, loving homes, because as PG will no doubt testify to, they make awesome companion pets and therapy dogs.
Personally, I think this horse’s owner should be contacted by the OB and told that what they are doing constitutes willful neglect and have them reported for it.

  10. where is this horse at o.p.,if in stewiacke area, i’ll make a side trip to exercise him for you. i do bareback or saddle. i was raised around these fine animals, and can damn near talk to them. i have been called a horse whisperer in my day, but it is more the tone of voice than anything else. and an ex race horse at that.
what is he ? morgan, arabian, chestnut, roan or which breed? people need to learn that a horse is a 20 plus year investment, and after they grow from that cute little filly or whatever, they become a full grown equine.
fuck me, some people just piss me off enough to go out and just go all apeshit on them. make the bitch that owns him pay, or put a lein o every fucking thing they have.my personal email is, gary_more@ hotmail.com. wish i had a place to put him. would take in a second. i’m serious about mailing me.

  11. TTFN not to be a dick but after some of the things you’ve told us about your ex, i’m pleasantly tickled to find out he’s deceased.

I’m sorry.. i think i’m in the process of crossing, like, a million lines. But yay! Props to you for having the superior hardware!

  12. OTTB’s – Off The Track Throughbreds – are a special breed of animal that require constant stimulation or they go crazy. As in batshit. I’ve seen many – and rehabbed many – that are so wound for sound standing in a stall for hours on end they attack, bite, kick and generally are a tad nuts.

The great thing about OTTB’s is that they can be great all-arounders. Dressage, jumping, pleasure riding, these horses can do it all with style. If they haven’t been ruined by their short racing careers, the snappy knees, slim lines and classy moving ability puts OTTB’s at the top of my list – right underneath my QHx, that is.

So sad to see another one cast aside, something that happens all too often when the new owners realize that they need constant attention and training. The ones I’ve worked with are happy, healthy, safe and sound from nose to hoof. They’ve got more willing in the tip of their ears than some horses have in their entirety.

Some horse people should very simply never be horse people. Sadly, there seems to be more prestige and pedigree seeking than good horsemanship these days. I hope this horse gets his second chance.

  13. Well Paingirl, you just made Ivan cry. I hope you’re proud of yourself. >: (
