To the poor soul who lost their 10 bucks on the bus… THANK YOU SO MUCH. It was a day before payday. I was broke as all fuck because I’d just paid off a massive vet bill following my cat’s death (I’m not even kidding – worst week ever) and was anticipating one day of work without coffee and lunch. Only to discover you had dropped 10 bucks on the #14. The bus was empty. Just me and your money and I’m sorry to say I pocketed it. And while I’m sure I earned some bad karma in keeping it, I plan to pay it forward by leaving a tenner of my own on a random seat next payday. You saved me a day of total shit and terror, friend and reminded me that the universe is not always the craphole it seems sometimes. Thank you for being so careless. You totally made my day. I love the hell out of you xx —Rich and Caffeinated

lol?
I gotta start taking the 14…
there’s a payday approaching.
But then you’d end up in spryfield, and no one wants that.
I used to take the 14 from my old job and PDG was mah driver every thursday!
Anyway, I had a similar experience. I was completely broke one day during my last year at MSVU and it was a day before payday and I didn’t have one red cent to my name and I got off the bus at the stop in front of the school and someone had dropped a $5 bill. No one was around so I took it, I’ll admit it.
I felt like I had won the frigging lottery!
it’s weird how that happens…
I’ve noticed it too.
just when I’m at my poorest
(-think ‘taking bottles back and rolling change to get enough to float to next pay day without dipping into my goblin-guarded, 3-days-wait savings account’)
I find something always comes along to alleviate the situation.
it’s rough though cause you can NEVER count on it…
very bizarre.
LOL I’ve totally done the rolling coins thing!
Though, you CAN have a lot of coin and not realize it. I had over $50 in coin once and didn’t even realize.
No bad Karma for you R & C!!! It’s being saved for the new breed of vets WHO ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY. If I knew you, I’d give you a $100 and a hug!
