To the car who started driving through the intersection while I was in the middle of the street and then instead of stopping to let me finish crossing, swerved around me to continue ripping down the street, fuck you. Surely to God, wherever you were going is not so important that you cannot wait at a stop sign until I finished crossing the street. It’s not like I walked out without looking and you were driving through. No, I was walking through and you just didn’t even acknowledge me. I had the right of way, you fuck. It’s entitled asshole drivers like you who make the roads unsafe. Yeah, some pedestrians are entitled assholes too, but for fuck’s sake, STOP when you are at a stop sign. I have this happen on a daily basis when coming home from with my dog from the commons. Nearly every time I try to cross north park (after hitting the signal) I narrowly avoid being mowed down my some asshole who thinks they can speed up and get through before they have to inconvenience their oh so important life by stopping to let us cross. And don’t even get me started on drivers and their failure to use turn signals. You’d think they didn’t exist in Nova Scotia.
Seems to have been a few of these bitches lately, pedestrians almost getting mowed down. Some drivers are clearly not paying attention and/or too aggressive. Nothing new here but Jesus guys, take it easy!
sad really how often this happens. Happened to me as well the other day, he waited for me to cross the street (really wide street with plenty of time beforehand to go through) and then nearly clipped my ass trying to get around me when I was still crossing.
