How I love you, public radio station that brings me good local and national news at 3pm when I am trapped in my car on the way to pick up my children.
But why must you keep hurting me? Haven’t we all suffered that moronic intro to the next show for long enough?

Hey, it’s miles ahead of private station’s morning shows. At least you’re not listening to ads for a show you’re already listening to.
is there no fucking “off” button on you radio?
BJ and the Q Morning Crew fucking SUCKS! Can I say that again? It FUCKING S U C K S ! It’s really really really really really not funny. They try to have “attitude” like big city radio stations but really just can’t pull it off in a clever, witty, funny way. Lisa Blackburn is the worst of them all.
Whenever I think of the “morning crew” of any radio station I’m reminded of this:

Of course there’s a fucking “off” button on my radio, fucktard. And I use it. Every day at 3:07pm. But this is a bitch. So I’m bitching. That stupid intro is an unnecessary and annoying pain in the ass and it’d be nice to be able to keep the radio on and listen to the local arts show without wanting to drive into a tree every afternoon.
jtm…please eave the trees alone !
If you’ve got to go off, pick a pole . at least its already dead !
I have to try really hard to like the radio. I hear the same ten songs on every station. I know they have to play the most popular songs but holy crap if I hear Sean Kingston one more time I will set myself on fire. On a dance floor. I think I’m going to get one of those iPod hook-ups so I can just play my own crap.
‘ohnogogo’, I’ve had that song stuck in my head for the past week and it’s making me go fucking insane! Somebody call 911… before I go on a shooting rampage.
(Note: I’m not actually about to go on a shooting rampage, just so you don’t call 911. It’s just that little shawty’s fire burning on the dance floor… fire burning, fire burning…).
The intro to that show is painless compared to the unlistenable horror we are subjected to between the hours of 10:00am and 11:30am.
Nothing is as bad as that unlistenable crap that they play every weekday morning starting at 8:37. Instant station change when those first couple of chords of current start blaring thru my speakers. What a mockery when one recalls what used to air at that hour and beyond in the mornings.
Is it just me, or does that theme music from “The Current” sound like something left over from the 80’s on MuchMusic—like “Canada Concert Listings” or something.
I love the CBC, but I usually skip “The Current”. Not a fan of The Voice Guy or Anna Maria T., but I will listen sometimes if there is a guest host or a really good topic.
And, yes, I do love Q with Jian Gomeshi. Awesome guests.
