I am getting sick and tired of all the vehicles failing to yield to the freaking buses! It became law May 2011, I sat on the Bedford Highway and counted six, yes six vehicles that could and should have yielded when my bus was trying to pull out! —Need Law Enforcement

  1. And if it were anybody else’s bus you wouldn’t give a shit. Fuck you and YOUR bus, OB, ya triflin’ ass bitch.

  2. i agree o.p., and when these nitwits get creamed. they have no one to blame, but their little ole dumb fuck selves.

  3. Fuck off, OB. Bus drivers fall under the moniker of “professional drivers”. Anyone with an actual training course should not need a legislated “right of way”, this is just a way of eliminating “at fault accidents” where the bus driver causes an accident by not driving defensively. Bus drivers are the cabbies of the transportation industry and should be treated with little to no respect. Right wheels? Ya douchebag!!!!

  4. The professionalism of the bus drivers has just been shot in the scrotum by the re-election of El Putzo as Union Mouthpiece.

  5. Hey shit head, I do not write every bus bitch asswipe. There are a few more than just moi out there. If you had a brain you would probably be dangerfuckingrous.

  6. OP there’s a lot of drivers in near misses when buses pull out without checking to see if they are clear to do so these days as well.
I almost got taken out on Gottingen St last week, when a bus pulled out without checking that I was beside him….if his signal light had of been on indicating he was pulling back out , I wouldn’t have driven by him, but when I came up on his rear end his signal light indicated he was pulled over, so I went by & just before I got to the front of the bus he pulled out ( I have no idea if he signaled, I was almost completely by him) & its only because there was no uncoming traffic that I was able to avoid a collision, I know it got his attention he hit the brakes & I puled back in.
But it ain’t all drivers…& if you need a special law to be able to pull out into traffic, you shouldn’t be allowed to drive anything in the first place IMO .

  7. The law exists to expedite our way back into traffic, thus helping us in trying to keep a closer schedule, but only if people obey which 95 percent I would say do not. So along with that not helping us keep to our time, you have inevitable summer road work, unprepared passengers holding up service, the list goes on and on. And remember blind spots before you think we always see you, cause we don’t. As I’ve said before, anyone thinks they can do it better then why don’t you enlist and join the crew, because by the sounds of it we need all the help we can get.

  8. As I reread your comment more, I realized that is exaclly where you were when the bus started pulling out, in his blind spot.

  9. Had he seen you he’d a kept on going. Hit the brakes, remember… Blind spot, remember… Come join the crew, remember….

  10. And we feel for our fellow bus drivers because we are all in the same boat, and when it comes to people yielding the right of way to us, a sinking one. Gotcha brother.

  11. THe ‘blind spot’ is exactly why DRIVERS are suppose to look over their shoulder & not just in their mirror.
IF he had turned his head to the right, & he still couldn’t see a 3/4 ton truck with the large rack on it in braod day light ….he needs a seeing eye dog & although I support the handicapped, seeing as technically I am one, I don’t support blind people driving the buses.
So inattentive driving doesn’t give him the right of way & making sure he is clear before he pulls out is also 100% his or her responsibility.

  12. one major thing i’ve noticed over they years, some drivers are so far up the butt of the car/truck/bus in front of them, there is no way the driver in front can see them. you need to see the bottom of the rear wheels of the auto in front of you, when you’re driving in the city. with buses you should be a car length behind

  13. Oh how ignorant you are More. We cannot do shoulder checks on buses man. We would only see the wall behind our seats if we are driving a bus. We would have to have our torso out the window to our waists in order to do a check that suits you. Our mirrors are our only tool, so get a motherfucking clue would ya. You guys are so fucking far up your own fucking asses, you probably don’t remember what the sun looks and feels like. Come join the crew More, remember….. Chicken?… Cluck, cluck.

  14. Well then, another stellar round of tripe spit by our bestest buddy, wheels. You can’t check your blind spot any other way but in the mirror? What a bunch of union trained asshats you guys are! You can’t slide your window open and look down and back 10 feet past the back of your seat? Are bus drivers all physically handicapped? All i have to say is 650 accidents last year, apparently thats a hell of a blindspot. It must run from 10 feet in front of the bus to 100 feet behind it and everywhere in between. In a real job where you are judged by performance instead of union protection, very few of you clowns would still have jobs.

  15. What this bitcher hates is the fact that SEVERAL vehicles went by the left signal light on a street that’s bad for yielding to buses. Not an unreasonable complaint.

  16. Is it just me or if the mirror is not giving you enough of a view get a better mirror that will do the job? Can you imagine if everyone who got in an accident said “they were in my blind spot, it was not my fault!”… I understand the dimensions of a bus are different than those of my car, but if we can send the man to the moon I’m sure we could get you a mirror that would fix this problem. Perhaps set this point up for your next union meeting?

  17. It’s obvious you have never driven a bus before. Our driver’s seat is too distanced from our window to be able to do a shoulder check you seem to think we should be able to make. Clueless…. Chicken…. Join?……

  18. Actually when we do leave a “safe distance” between the bus and the traffic in front of the bus, there’s always some ass clown who’ll jam their vehicle into that spot. Take a look next time you’re going over the MacDonald bridge and look at the idiots who change lanes in front of the bus. Give an inch and people will take a foot.

  19. Really, wheels? Your seat is in a position that makes it impossible to look anywhere other than your mirror? I find that hard to believe. Real fuckin hard to believe!!! If I’m driving my tractor trailer with my 50,000 lb, 12 foot wide excavator behind me, I’m able to manually check my blindspot. It does take a little extra effort, oh…wait…enough said, extra effort isn’t in your union contract. You’re all a bunch of whiny tools, nobody cares how “hard” your job is. It’s your job, deal with the difficulty, that’s what you get paid to do. Wanker!!!

  20. Wheels you are so full of shit its actually dripping out of your keyboard & trying to staint his bitch page.
Unless the buses no longer have a side window so you can view the mirror, the only way he couldn’t see me, is if he simply pulled out I was along side his fucking mirror if he had looked at it, he’d have had to see my truck ! there’s no way he could have missed it IF HE HAD LOOKED.

too many of you drive away & then check when you are already moving….its too damn late then. Maybe you missed that driving rule, you check first THEN you move ! ! !
You haven’t got a force field around you, & this complacency is probably why there are so many bus accidents, “I got a right to pull out when I want to ” but you don’t !
We have to yeild to you, but only if we are BEHIND YOU. If we are alongside the bus, YOU have the responsibility to YEILD to us.

  21. I don’t really get your argument Wheels. When driving a car, you adjust the mirrors so that you don’t need to move to be able to see probably every time you want to check something. I really don’t think it would be too much of a task for someone to engineer a mirror or system of mirrors so that you could see better beside you while staying put in your seat. Like, when you drive someone else’s car, do you just leave the mirrors the way they are and keep physically moving your body to be able to see the mirrors properly?

  22. man… it’s a sad day when shittyd and more are quite obviously making more sense than someone who is responsible for hundreds of lives on a daily basis.

wheels, you’re not doing any of your brethren an favors….
though I am trying to help.
I chastise those that don’t give the bus right of way when I’m in the car…
but you’re making it difficult to keep me on your side, rambling idiotic statements like a hopped up 5 year old tattling on his sister.

“but he was passing in my blindspot….”
    “but I can’t check…”
“but they should let me out….. that’s not fair!!!”

  23. Awwww …………….. Cupcake ……………… do you want a sucker to make it all better? There there.

Grow the Fuck up will ya?

You sure they had their signal light on?? A bus can’t just randomly pull out without signalling. Which is what most of the rottenly overpaid bastards do. What? I’m supposed to read their mind?? I yeild when I’m supposed to ………….. but ……….. they HAVE to use common sense as well.
