Metro Transit seriously needs to update their schedule, on the booklets and online. In the past 2 weeks, I’ve noticed 3 unannounced changes in the bus routes.
1- On Sundays, the 61/14 continues on as usual (heads to Leiblin Park after arriving to Scotia Square)even after 9 pm, though it’s not stated in the schedule. No big deal, but I don’t want to transfer without realizing I don’t really have to!
2- On Saturdays, the 61/14 does NOT continue on (to Leiblin eventually after arriving to Halifax)after 11 pm, like it states in the schedule.
3- Tonight after 7 pm, when the 61 reached Scotia Square, instead of turning into the 14 like it’s supposed to, it turned the fucking 1! I sat on the 61- turned-1 bus and saw the 14 fly by! It’s a good fucking thing I just live 5-10 minutes from SGR or I would have had to wait another hour for the next bus!
Apparently they “updated” their schedule just last week, but none of these changes I experienced are reflected in the “new” online/book schedule! This could seriously screw someone over! Did I miss something– is there somewhere on the metro transit website that states these changes?? Is it just me????

As far as #1 and 2 go, you are correct, and please do bring this to MT’s attention as this error is in the new May schedule books. Not sure about #3 as I’ve never driven a 61 that turns into a 1.
no 61 turns into a #1… the 14 goes up spring garden to southpark st. so some peeps think its the #1

WTF’s up with the 17/18 detour to SMU? I understand there’s a detour because of construction on South Park — and it says that on the website….Took the 18, went on the detour, whatever….but 3 hours later the 17/18/10/14 were running their regular routes to SMU…WTF? I’m confused.
Buy a car silly tard. Buses are for the poor.
