Some people have the capacity to both concentrate on driving and carry on a lighthearted conversation. If you’re not one of them, you can stay silent when you drive your family to and fro. Which i doubt you do.
I dunno… my trip last week saw the bus driver actively engaging the riders rather than the reverse. I guess he was bored… or trying to be funny or something.
buy an ipod and listen to something else if human interaction bothers you on public transportation.
What a silly bitch…I mean as long as the person is just talking not yelling and swearing what is the harm, I’m sure the bus driver if they felt distracted would have said something, maybe they know each other.
I have seen people ride along and talk with the drivers before, no biggie. However, if the bus was stopped for like 20 mins because of this conversation that would upset me too 🙂
Yes yes sure and when there is and accident we pay the bill as usual right?, I have on many occationsn had very long convo,s with drivers, yet the other ppl on the bus don’t hear everything I say, why is it you people can’t understand you are not suppose to talk to the driver unless nessesary. Maybe if people took a hint, but alas they don’t. See im the guy who will tell him to shut up, and have no problem having a verbal altercation, in fact I relish it, and when the others on the bus gang up on me that only feeds the fire that was started long ago when i was molested and abused by doctors at age 8. According to research on the subject, they are distracted, by drinking a coffee, adjusting the climate control or radio & cel phones even with a head set still distracts drivers… some drivers Isosceles_kramer can drive safely while distracted, most can’t !

Cell phones pose a problem because the person on the other end isn’t privy to the current conditions the driver is driving in. People who are in the same environment know when to stfu or whatever, while people on cell phones don’t.
At least that’s what one study I heard about said.
I’m pretty sure if the driver was bothered with having their ear talked off then they would have told buddy to shut up and sit down.

I agree with this bitch… drivers should be driving the bus without spouses/ friends/ and or hookers standing beside them distracting them from doing their job.
