  1. My point exactly. As much as she was an icon in poster form, she didn’t have the creds MJ had as an overall entertainer and producer – not even close. Whoever had the most stories in the National Perspirer wins in the death coverage stakes. It’s the American Way.

  2. PLASTIC DIVER GUY HERE FOR THE AMAZING INFOMERCIAL WORK OF BILLY MAYS!

As for the bitch itself, we all knew Farrah was dying. MJ’s death was sudden, and as such, much more media “wow” ensued. Sad really, as the timing couldn’t have been worse.

  3. Even then there’ll be more talk of Lindsay Lohan somehow. Maybe some harbinger to it.

And there’s little talk about Ed McMahon compared to MJ and Farrah. Farrah couldn’t even hold Ed’s microphone.

  4. When I heard Farrah Fawcett had passed away I felt really sad because she was such a good actress especially in the movie Jewel.

  5. Farrah lacked talent. That’s why when she left Charlie’s Angels she lost all relevance. MJ had talent. He and John Landis ushered in the video age, and his music influenced many other artists. What’s really sad is that Ed McMahon died effectively penniless, and house-poor. Much like many of the other men and women his age.

  6. And don’t forget MJ wouldn’t have done either Ed or Farrah – one was too old and one was a yucky female

  7. How about the OP show some love to basic punctuation?

No one cares what a seven-year-old thinks.

  8. You know she did a great job of Burning Bed…the woman who set the abuser on fire……justifiable homicide…….and she did a great job in that true crime movie where the mom killed her kids and said a stranger did it…..so she has done good work when she is alone doing drama true stories…..

Charlies Angels made her look like a (h)airhead and yes she made lots of money being a (h)airhead….. so many girls wanted their hair cut like hers…..she was huge in hairstyling world ..so while she was not as popular as MJ she does deserve mention but……….. really…like Ed ….. they died of a disease so many Non-Hollywoods types die of everyday and where is their parade?

  9. Unfortunately, her partner Ryan O’Neill was a fucking bully and abuser of the first degree – all of his kids ended up severely brainscrambled, including the little drugged out psycho he produced with Farrah. Now that’s a guy who should have had his bed burned.

  10. Farrah was EXCELLENT in “Small Sacrifices”….I actually couldn’t separate her character from her (I saw it when I was like what? 8 — very impressionable!) so I always thought of her as some white trash hack. Sad really. But it just goes to show you that she did have SOME talent when it came to acting.

But NOTHING like MJ. Even though he ended up pretty fucked up at the end (or say the last 10 years at least) fucker had talent. I’m usually the first one to point out how the hype is all a bunch of bullshit, but in MJ’s case…ain’t NO hype there.

  11. Thanks PK I could not remember that movie….It was well done and she was so believable…. She was so much like the real mother who I seen on a documentary…it was scary….

Still…..odd how she did Burning Bed and never did anything to her abusive hubby…..

  12. Farrah requested that the press not make a big deal over her death and leave her family to grieve in peace. Very much unlike the Jackson fandamily.

  13. BSB: I hardly think the media gives a damn about what people want..they are in the business of selling news, if they listened we would not hear about so many issues with the paps by celebrities.

  14. MJ was butchered in the media for the past 20 years by the public, now that he has passes media is saying nothing but good things as where Farrah has always been Farrah i have more sympathy going towards Farrah

  15. I saw a pretty damming CBC special on MJ the same day he died. I don’t think anybody’s down-playing the speculations but it’s old news. The music is immortal, wedged into our culture… can’t say the same for the beautiful Farrah, RIP
