Hulu: Just work in Canada, already. all I want is to watch everything on tv for free at any time. It’s not too much to ask. At the least, someone please use their skillz on the internets to give me an easy way to cheat their IP blocking. all media should be free for my consumption!

Hotspot used to be enough, but now you have to do the procedures below
1. Download and install both Hotspot Shield and Ultrasurf
2. Start Hotspot Shield
3. Start Ultrasurf
4. Open Browser
a. Delete cache, cookies, authenticated sessions
b. Disable Ad-blocking software (such as ABP)if applicable
5. Watch Vids on Hulu
Notes: If it doesn’t work the first time-round, try, try again! Users must start HSS then Ultrasurf in that order.
ML, you’re good for something. Again, WTH is it with programs being blocked in Canada?! Pandora, now Hulu?

OP: Skip everything that Matthew told you and simply use a proxy server, like NetEvade. Works great for me at work. Just google NetEvade and you’ll find a whole host of proxy servers to use.

My solution is better, as you’re not at the whim of a proxy server.
Hotspotshield = yes.
Then simply go to fancast.com.
Most of hulu’s shows are on there.
Sometimes it will tell you that the vid isn’t available but keep refreshing and you’ll get it.
Copyright law is observed internationally but collecting on copyrights (royalties) is a region-based system. I’d guess US copyright law has nothing to do with the regulation but CRTC policy… that will leave you watching Canadian content every time. You can thank the CRTC for the staggering cost of Canadian cell phone use too.
If you want to watch TV for free go to jail, they get everything free courtesy of the taxpayer.
Hmmm…do you think jail would let me check in on Wednesday nights when Lost comes back on? Do they have popcorn in jail?
