People LOVE to complain about all the things that are wrong with whatever it may be. I cant pick up a newspaper without seeing something about some criminal wanting bail, or said person raped X number of women.

WHEN did the media start focusing on chaos and hate? When will people realize that FOCUSING on things that make you feel bad just BRINGS MORE OF IT ABOUT!? Fear is powerful, but not as powerful as happy thoughts. I feel like people don’t understand this.

Change your focus media. Perhaps we’ll stop seeing so many rapes, murders, scams and other horrid things.

PS: this probably isn’t a news flash, but people LOVE to see their names in the paper. When you start printing more peoples names who are criminals (the government included with these criminals) GUESS WHAT YOU’RE GOING TO SEE???? More jumpings, creeps who sneak into women’s houses, and attempted murders. —Yes, Id love to read about an old ladys cat saved from a tree by a local young lad

  1. Why don’t you start you’re own paper that focuses on the positive? We’ll be here laughing when you file for bankruptcy.

  2. They’ll stop printing it when it stops selling. And if you think the media is responsible for the horrible things that happen in the world, I seriously want some of whatever you’re smoking, it must be amazing.

  3. Let me know when the first issue of ‘Happy Little Pink Unicorns Dancing Around Rainbow Ribbons of Peace’ comes out.

    Honestly, are you that naive?

  4. “WHEN did the media start focusing on chaos and hate?”

Right from the beginning. I guess you never heard of its mantra, “If it bleeds it leads”.

  5. The saying in the media world goes “If it bleeds….it leads” People want to know the crazy things that are going on in this world. But I agree with you completely about positive thinking….that’s why we have a Love the way we love section as well. But love doesn’t sell papers sweetie.

  6. Don’t look to the media for the world’s decency. Look to find it, or make it in your own life and surroundings.

  7. If it bleeds it leads unfortunately.

Oh, and if you want good news, that’s what SNAP is for. That’s all they focus on, good news stories.

  8. There are places to go for good news stories but frankly I would rather know that some creep is breaking onto houses in my neighbourhood and be vigilant than hearing some wishy washy stuff.

Just watch the ctv news…Live at 5 for your fluffy stuff and Dead at 6 for the news

  9. Hehe Live at 5 and Dead at 6 😀 good one devgirl! I concur. You can learn all about making mayo and how some kid started a recycling program in his orphange on Live at 5 then just switch over to Treehouse when it’s over.

  10. People love reading about the less fortunate. It makes them feel superior to the criminal wanting bail, or the said person who raped X number of women. Bad news sells.

  11. Yes, because the world is all rainbows, unicorns and butterflies. Pbbbbbbpppppht…..
