So… I had the pleasure of getting a tour of a certain food bank in Halifax and I was absolutely floored by the amount of work that goes into such a place. The staff along with the volunteers are the most amazing people in the world. I will be certain to do my part in helping by donating… I suggest that if any of you have the power to donate… do it… it really is appreciated. —Wowed

They do work their asses off all year long; we can be proud to have people that thoroughly dedicated to helping others in HRM.
The distribution of christmas dinner boxes also happens in two weeks or so, so if you pass by the place you might want to ask if they’d need anything specific for donation (that is, if it’s the same food bank i’m thinking of, don’t know what’s the situation with the other ones).
Again, if it’s the same food bank I’m thinking of, they’ll likely be happy to get some toys to distribute along with those dinner boxes that go to families with young children.
