I live in a building that, as of late, has become pretty horrible to live in, if nothing else for the constant noise from the renovations of the parking garage that usually start early in the morning and have been going on for well over a month now. For people that need to sleep late because of their jobs, this is not a good thing.

As I’m writing this now, I’m waiting for them to turn the water on so i can shower. It’s been off for “unseen” circumstances for the past 3-4 hours, which is the excuse whenever they turn the water off and which happens a lot. On top of that, the rent keeps going up! Talk about a life of luxury. —D.Grayson

  3. well why not complain to batman there robin. after all, that was/is his name. but seriously, noise from construction, what planet did you live on, there there is no noise from repairs being made, to make your dump better to live in? come on now, tell everyone about how it disturbs you at 2 in the afternoon, while you are having your high tea, or at night, at 3 a.m., when you are trying to sleep. gee, can’t do that hey, well live with a little noise, your place will be better off when done, if not, you must live in a crap hole on gottengin st. then.

  4. And if the landlord didn’t effect repairs, in a few months you’d be bitching about the landlord not doing repairs.

  5. Rent can’t go up till the end of your lease, so if you dislike it so much, then why did you stay?

  6. I’m sure there’s some buildings in places like Sierra Leone and Detroit that are worse!

Unless you’re talking about Fenwick Place.
