Going door to door selling chocolate bars for a charity is not a good way to be doing things any more. I totally agree with the cause if you guys are actually with that organization, but knocking on someone’s door at 7 at night isn’t an effective way to get donations. No one carries cash any more, nor do I want to buy a chocolate bar for five dollars from a stranger. If it was 10 years ago, sure I would without even thinking, but it’s a different world now and in my eyes you’re a stranger on my doorstep. I’m sorry, but if I want chocolate I’ll go to the store and if I want to donate money I’ll do it to the organization itself. —Neither a Bitch nor a Love

  1. Sunset is at 4:45 FFS nowadays. How does someone canvass after work/school without doing it in the dark. When did 7:00pm become ridiculously late?? That’s when most people are done with supper. If you’re going to be a cheapass, be a cheapass and shut up about it, nobody cares what you want or don’t want. Why not put up a sign on your door the reads: FUCK OFF ALL YOU STUPID KIDS AND CHARITIES, I’M A CHEAPASS, GRUMPY BITCH. ALL WHO KNOCK WILL BE SHOT WITH A SUPERSOAKER FILLED WITH PEE!!!

  2. If it goes to a good cause I would buy it. I’m a sucker for good chocolate and World’s Finest the company who used to make the bars the school kids sold is about the best. I’ve bought my share of it over the years.

BLOW: I’m here cutie pie just lookin for somethin sweet…..

  3. Are you the same guy who shops online naked? Prolly a good idea that you don’t answer the door, then. Unless you’ve ordered a minor hockey player for Xmas, expedited delivery.

  4. They aren’t all 5 bucks sackville hockey is selling them for 2 dollars a bar and they are actually good chocolate bars. Although other programs are selling the exact same bars for 4 dollars a bar. People normally have a toonie laying around and 7 oclock really isn’t late at all.

  5. Yeah like children are out poisoning the bars they sell. Whatever cheapo…some of us enjoy the odd bar or box of girl guide cookies – keep em comin kiddies…saves me on walkin to the store.
