Should I stay or should I go to work today? The alarm goes off at 6am, I wake up to a freezing cold house, frozen pipes, so I can’t shower, flush or make coffee before I head off to work. When I try to warm my blue stumpy toes; my usless, piece of shit

I had the same problem last year, made sure I moved this past summer…..Try putting plastic up over all your windows (canadian tire) space heaters are also a really good way to go, you don’t want your pipes to burst it’s a mess! Blankets up over doors to stop any draft….old irish trick…put a brick or a couple large rocks in the oven…heat em up and wrap a towel around them then shove em at the foot of your bed, you’ll be warm all night.Seriously, our Provincial Government should be doing WAY more to help low income FAMILIES (small children freezing all winter…how horrible) deal with this…it’s a very serious problem for a lot of people….
