WTF is up with the two lanes on the Windsor Street exchange that turn left onto the Bedford Highway and merge immediately into one lane? I live on Windsor Street right by the exchange and drive through there 2-3 times a day. I am beginning to have anxiety attacks when I drive through the exchange. Since the “improvements” have been made to it, I have almost been in collisions a dozen or more times and have witnessed countless more people almost hit other people. I will only drive in the left-hand turning lane as it is the one that is merged into and thus, If I got hit, it would not be my fault. It is by far the most stupid “improvement” I have ever seem to a major intersection. I have even called the city to bitch and interestingly enough, the person I spoke to was well aware of the issue and admitted to me that many complaints have already been received. Hopefully the city will wake up to smell the twisted metal and remove on of the turning lanes before someone gets seriously hurt!

I heard Ken Reashor (sp?) on 95.7 the other day talking about this. His response to all the complaints about this? “People will have to get used to it.” How may boxtops did he have to send in to get his “engineering degree”?!?
