What’s up with a halifax radio station offering unlimited tanning for 2 months as a “fabulous prize”?
Winning an all-inclusive vacation… COOL! Winning a trip to a local spa… Awesome! Winning a 55 percent more likely to develop malignant melanoma… bummer.
Now I’m all for freedom of choice. If you wanna smoke, smoke. If you wanna look like a dehydrated alligator when your 32, go right ahead. But it is irresponsible for the radio station to give this shit away, as a prize, to their 18-34 listening demographic.

Yes lets blame the radio station. How irresponsible of them. Lets even blame the tanning salons. While we are at it, lets accuse the people that make the tanning beds.Should we blame the people that use the service too long , too much or otherwise incorrectly? HELL NO.Its called personal responsibility. Just because someone wins 2 months unlimited ; DOESN’T mean they have to spend 2 months in a booth. Geez.
Yes, Tanning causes cancer. So does ditting out in the sun on the All Iclusive Vacation…and so do probably alot of the chemicals in the products at the spa.
