I am all for urban development when it means new jobs and an influx of money in today’s economy, but SERIOUSLY, Dartmouth Crossing planners – get your heads out of your asses.

No shuttle for people who don’t have vehicles, and your freaking parking spots are to narrow to park anything wider than a Yaris without either whacking the door of someone parked next to you, or sucking in your guts to get in and out of your car.

This seems to be happening everywhere – I understand space is at a premium, but Jesus H. Mumbletyfuck…

  1. Narrow parking spots- that is the Zellers and Chapters thing to do. That rots my shorts, too. I take up two spots, just to show them.

  2. Anything larger than a smart car takes two spots.
Hell, my crotch on a cold day almost takes two spots.

They need to take a page out of Costco’s book and put a little buffer zone in there, what with obesity and horrible drivers being what they are.

  3. This is definitely frustrating! I have to go to Dartmouth Crossing to cash some gift certificates for stores that have moved out there, yet the one bus that you can take would be difficult for me to get to. A shuttle would be great, I wouldn’t mind a long-ish drive if I could get picked up from a spot relatively close by. Grr.

  4. I drive a full size pick up, I need it for my job. I to have noticed how tiny the parking places are there…that’s why I now park with a line going right under the centre of my truck…Now when I get out I have lots of room on both sides of my truck…think outside the box guy’s, & you to can protect your paint job 😉
