It’s like driving a freaking obstacle course. Some of the ones around town could hold a family of four and the family dog, Unfortunately, the fluctuating temperatures are to blame – the least the stoners from City Field could do is fill some of those craters with dirt or wharf rats or BQ Whoppers.
Have you ever heard of Google?www.halifaxdining.ca
There are a lot of potholes in Nova Scotia because of the sort of winter weather we have: freezing and thawing over and over again so that the ashphalt expands and contracts so many times that cracks form. Then, due to the large amount of snow we get, plows and winter tires tear up the cracked bits causing pot holes. This is the same as most other maritime cities I’ve visited. Mystery solved.
Wierd traffic junctions, no online menus, potholes…..and underground caverns full of dead bodies.
Please, go back to wherever they have Google and smooth roads, probably Vancouver?
Province could invest in more reliable materials than crappy asphalt that they use. Problem solved. Concrete works miracles.
