Why oh why
Is Lower Water Street not one way, heading north? The sight of the south-bound lane sitting empty while the north-bound one is at a standstill, day in, day out, is an end-of-the-day frustration that we could all do without.

You’re obviously talking about leaving the Lower Water Street area at the end of the day. Now, since all of those people are clearly driving AWAY from the downtown core at day’s end, isn’t it logical to assume they must all reach the area from the opposite direction? It may make the end of the day frustrating, but imagine if you had to get to that same area by looping around Barrington Street a block past your stop only to backtrack on the unidirectional Lower Water Street? I’m just saying…
