First off, he paid the price with the law. secondly, if he wasn’t’ allowed into Canada to work as an entertainer, he would of been denied access at the BORDER!!! BUT NO, Halifax has their Border Patrol as well. The Loyal Organization of Showboating Entertainment Regulator Shitheads ( LOSERS). This money, before the last weeks of Tourist Season, these last days before Halifax becomes a winter ghost town, these last days when the small business man needs their survival funds, was denied because someone thought that it promoted violence. Ok..The stones were part of a shooting in the 60’s, Arrested for dope numerous times, one of them is known to do heroin all the time.. The beatles…Paul McCartney, a mushroom head. C’mon people. Personally i wouldn’t go, i don’t like his music, but that doesn’t mean he can’t come…what the hell. If that criteria was made for LA, LA would have no musicians. I’m not too sure he’s heart broken. Cruise ships come into Halifax until the end of October. In fact September and October are by far the busiest months for cruise ships, so the tourist season is far from over.
Only thing about the cancellation that pissed me off is that I bartend at the venue… That woulda been like a $200 payday for me… So thanks *insert some scapegoat blame of sorts here*

Chris Brown was likely never going to perform for those concerts: as a convicted felon he was going to need an exemption just to enter Canada, which I doubt the promoters were going to obtain in time for him to show. The Energy Rush concerts weren’t likely to make a pile of money for the promoters anyway; in a down economy, those who can pay the piper are the ones who sell out the Commons and call the tunes.

The “artist” cancelled likely because he can’t cross the border. A few weeks ago Ole’ Chrissie there rear ended someone and when asked for his info (insurance/license), he lost it again and drove off like a bitch. He was later arrested and was found to be driving without insurance I think, and the judge then revoked his probation and I’m pretty sure he’s to stay in Cali.
