Here’s the answer: YOU were not coming to a complete stop in your car as I was crossing the street. YOU were still moving in to the intersection coming towards me as I crossed the street. Yes, slow, but YOU need to stop way before being that close and in the intersection. How am I to know you see me for sure if you do not stop or what happens if I fall? YOU were the third driver to not obey driving regulations regarding crosswalks in under thirty minutes and two city blocks. Frustrated, absolutely! —Not Wanting to Get Injured

A lot of drivers don’t understand that pedestrians see the person behind the wheel as an impatient idiot. So they won’t forge ahead just in case the driver rolls right into them. People need to stop their cars near crosswalks not just slow them.
