Dear owner of a certain laundromat,
I came in with a load of wet clothes (I have a washer at my house but no dryer). It’s not busy. There are many dryers free. But you tell me the machines are “only for customers.” Um, since when do I have to use BOTH the washer and the dryer to be a legitimate customer?! I’m still giving you my money! Well, now some other place can have it. A place with a nice coffee shop next door. I won’t miss you, grumpy old man.

You cant just use the dryer. That is odd. He must remember everyone that comes in.
Bon, if he’s paying to use the dryer, what’s the difference?
There is no difference. It’s just seems like a dumb thing to say. Maybe his profits are higher on the wash instead of the dry so he wants to push washer usage. But still, some profit on the dryer is better than no profit at all.
What a douche, I suppose he expects you to pay for ironing too. Good luck next door.

Dang, it must be heavy carrying all those wet clothes. That said, I’m with kay on this one. Prepare your change ahead of time and just use the dryers.
Um…the fact that you were going to use the dryer and pay money TO use said dryer kind of DOES make you a customer…so….I don’t get his logic.
Why dont you ask him why before posting this, I think there is more to this story.
I meant Why cant you just use the dryer and not the washer which I found odd and the owner must remember everyone that uses both.
