Quebec just shot down plans for energy east to provide Atlantic refineries with Canadian oil. The merits of this decision may be good, may be bad. I do not give a damn.

What baffles me is that Canada doesn’t already have an established nation wide corridor for traffic/utilities/energy/resources.

WTF!!! After the railroads went from coast to coast, did we lose our senses? —not getting it

  1. But, didn’t we elect The Boy King on the very premise that Canadians were tired of having a single province dictate the national agenda?

  2. Ultimately, this is an energy security issue. Haligonians can not continue to rely on international shipments of crude oil to meet their domestic and export/refinery needs.

Most international sources have plateau’d in production. If Canadians do not start to work together, we will find ourselves cold and in the dark.

This time it will be for real, and it will not the fault of western Canada, it will be a self inflicted punishment to eastern canada by eastern canadians.
