Because they are not allowed to Euthanize Humans. There are too many healthy animals for adoption, not enough people adopting them.
Your lame attempt at poetry belongs at the bottom of a fucking bird cage. Besides, dung beetles don’t love life, they love shit.
Now that my own dog has died, my boyfriend and I are looking to adopt a dog from a shelter. When we go online to look at the dogs available for adoption through the various organizations, It kills me to think that if these poor animals don’t find homes soon, they’ll be put down. What really infuriates me however, is that I have lost count of how many of the dog’s stories describe how they had to be given up because the owner ‘changed jobs’, ‘no longer had the time’, or was ‘relocating to a place that didnt allow pets’. Do people give up their children when it gets to be inconvenient? A pet is supposed to be for life and if people can’t recognize this responsiblity, they shouldnt have pets to begin with!
