Response to “response to puppy blackmail” and kate

“Hey idiot” right back at ya rpb. Can neither of you read nor calculate? A300 came into force in April 2008. If my puppy is 4 months old then chances are, unless I rescued my adorable puppy from his mothers teet right after he was born, then the NEW FUCKING LAW WOULD HAVE PERTAINED TO ME you tool. And the grandfather clause you so thoughtfully referred to wouldn’t have applied to me and my puppy. If you both had read my bitch, you would have noticed 2 things. 1) I paid the fucking fee you arseholes…hence the description “$35 I could have USED at the vet”, 2) It should have been clear that I had every intention of neutering my dog when he’s old enough, otherwise, I wouldn’t have been bitching about being charged the “unaltered” licensing fee, 3) I agreed with the surcharge on unaltered dogs that are ABLE to be altered when they’re old enough. But there’s no need for the same surcharge to apply to a puppy who can’t even get it on yet!!!

SHAME ON YOU both for suggesting that I don’t take care of my dog and that I shouldn’t have my puppy because I disagree with a stupid “unaltered” surcharge on my unalterable little munchkin. And Kate, I feed my dog the good fuckin’ food…or maybe $60 a bag isn’t good enough for you pretentious tool. My dog will have had all of his shots as of next week, has monthly flea and worm care and goes to doggy day care every couple of weeks. So FUCK YOU BOTH for not reading properly and accusing me of being a bad puppy parent simply because I disagree politically (thank you Miles) with a licensing fee surcharge that shouldn’t apply to puppies under 6 months old. If you had THOUGHT about what I said, my idea of the $15 6 month puppy license that gets extended once the puppy has been fixed with encourage alteration of the dog because if you don’t get the puppy fixed within 6 months, your license expires and THEN you have to pay the full $50. Get it this time!!!!

Sick of peopel who can’t read!

  1. First of all, what happened to responding to bitches in the comment section? It’s easy, just click on comments, scroll to the bottom and type. (careful you don’t hit Search instead of Submit)!Second, why do you think that buying $60 dog food makes you a better pet owner? That’s so ridiculous! Dogs need love and attention more than anything else. When I was growing up, we always had dogs in the family….they didn’t go to the vet every month (if ever), no shots, no special foods, and absolutely no little doggie beds and clothes…they were all happy and all lived well beyond their life expectancy.I’m not saying you shouldn’t register or take them for needles and all that good stuff, but just because someone can’t afford organic dog food and expensive shit doesn’t mean they can’t have a happy healthy puppy or dog….Kibbles n bits is only $11/bag and you can make your own dog food for around the same cost if you have the time and energy.

  2. and actually I’ve heard that homemade dog food is often better for the animal. The point is the amount of time and love you give the pet, as long as you are fullfilling all it’s needs- and organic special food and little dog coats are doggy wants, not needs.besides, no amount of special kibble would make up for a good game of fetch or a pet…..I think this is maybe like parents who buy their kids expensive toys etc etc to make up for never spending time with them- because they’ve spent that cash, clearly they care, although the child would probably appreciate a hug more than a play station.not to say the OP isn’t a good puppy parent (shudder that I just wrote that saccarine sweet phrase), after all I wouldn’t want ANOTHER post dedicated to me 😉

  3. i think lori and hedgyhog missed the point of the bitch which was in response to a response from an earlier bitch. the original bitch was about charging more for a dog license if the dog isn’t fixed but not accommodating the fact that puppies can’t be fixed under 6 months old. kate and the responder to the original bitch accused the original bitcher of being a cheapass and doesn’t take care of their puppy. the bitch above was a that you both have responded too was in response to being called a bad “puppy parent” and especially kate who stated :”I agree, if you can’t afford a dog and all the expenses that come with it, which are often unexpected, THEN YOU SHOULDN’T OWN ONE! I am sick of people owning dogs and not properly taking care of them. Neuter it, get it’s needles, clip it’s nails, buy it the good food, and get his check ups and shut up.” now perhaps the bitch you responded too makes more sense because i don’t think this bitcher was saying that they were a better puppy parent for buying expensive food.although it’s good to see people so passionate about dogs.

  4. I’m gonna write a Bitch asking people not to bitch about old Bitches in new Bitches in which they bitch about the bitching about even earlier Bitches. It’s just too confusing. That said, I agree with the OOOP that if the puppy isn’t old enough to be operated on, then it shouldn’t be charged the higher rate. The higher rates in supposed to be a disincentive to leaving the animal un-snipped, but it is not the owner’s fault if the dog isn’t ready at the time of license purchase.

  5. I didn’t miss the point AW, I’ve read all the bitches related to this bitch and felt this was the best place to respond.Kate’s an idiot but so is the OP because she feels the need not to only pay $60/bag of food but to use it as justification as why she’s a good puppy owner. My question is, why not just wait until you have your puppy fixed to register it?

  6. Lori what’s it to you if she pays $60 a bag? As long as she is overspending rather than underspending, so what? Fuck it irritates me the way people get so bent out of shape by other people’s good fortune to be able to spend a little cash. The pettiness and resentment are pathetic.

  7. And the other bitch accused her of being too poor or too cheap to pay for taking care of her dog, so she was totally justified in bringing up what she spends in order to demonstrate that the comment was unfair.

  8. I could give two fucks how much she spends on dog food, a car or anything else…I happen to overspend a lot myself, and I agree, Jammie, resentment of other people’s good fortune is pathetic. What annoys the fuck out of me is when people think that spending more on things, in general, makes them better than someone who doesn’t.I don’t personnally buy furniture at Walmart (I prefer solid/handmade stuff from places like Pier 1,etc.) but I don’t think that just because I can afford it makes me better than my neighbour who can’t!You may use no name ketchup while I use Heinz, but I wouldn’t not sit on the same deck with you and share my BarBQ!

  9. Agreed Lori – conspicuous consumption and snobbery are gross. But I don’t think she was saying she was better. She was just responding to an accusation. Someone asked her a question, so she shouldn’t be attacked for giving and honest response (if we assume it was honest).

  10. I agreed with everything in her original bitch, maybe I just read it different, I’m hoping she’s not one of those people who think you need to spend a certain amount…blah blah blah….but I wouldn’t have even gave the satisfaction to her or anyone else by responding with a number, but that’s just me!

  11. I took as it was the commenter who accused her of being cheap who was the pretentious jerk who thinks its about the $$In any case, people are people and dogs are dogs and the latter are much easier to get along with!

  12. Yeah i don’t buy my dog $60 dog food, I was talking about not buying the Presidents choice sawdust garbage that gives them the shits. Thanks Lori for calling me an idiot, and to everyonne who thought I was rich and pretentious. I’m passionate about dogs,so sorry if I came off as a bitch. I’m a student so I can own a dog because my boyfriend has a good salary and can take him to the vet whenever, and register him ect. I personally, am not rich, grew up poor actually and now trying to make a life for myself. So yea, accuse me that I think people have to “spend a certain amout” to be worthy. i buy my clothes and food on sale, thanks.
