Let me start by saying that I’ve grown up in a house of smokers…although I have never smoked but obviously do not hate smokers. I do not however understand why it’s ok for all smokers to litter our beautiful planet with their butts! If we handed out litter fines for all the cigarette butts littered we could end Canada’s debt issue. That’s it. For any smoker who may read this, I plea with you to please stop littering :). It’s not ok, but they do it because it is normalized in their minds. Also, plenty of non-smokers throw shit out their windows, so it’s not just (some) smokers who think littering is ok.

I like to throw orange peel out the window. 1 orange peel is probably as unsightly as a cigarette butt
Granted some smokers have always tossed butts on the ground but many did not. They used to use something called an ashtray. Then some government bright light twit managed to give smokers the heave ho from places like restaurants, lounges, taverns, dance clubs etc. And in those places they had ashtrays and even special rooms in some of them for smokers to be. So there was not as many butts on the streets then. I find it odd that they did not want kids to really see smokers but then they forced the smokers into the streets. Many government types should be checked for a brain.
As smokers, it is our hope that one day nature will learn to grow cigarette trees. So we are planting the seeds for a better future. How dare you?

Personally I take more issue with the spitters…I would rather walk over an old butt then a slippery thick gob of phlegm!!!
