To the people who read bitches before they are posted, who are you to say that a breakup story is “boring?” Just post the bitches as the writer wrote it and let the reader decide whether or not it is boring. I understand that you get alot of submissions about breakups, but that doesn’t give you a right to bias the reader with your snide addition to the heading.

It’s our web site and we’ll do whatever the hell we wanna do with it.
Tim hath spoken!!!!
He is right though. This is thecoast.ca not your personal blog site. If it’s a boring break up story (and unless there is some seriously crazy shit involved, every break up story on here is boring) it should be marked as such, so those of us who generally choose to avoid them can do so. If you don’t like the rules, feel free to post/read on some other site. Trust me, you won’t be missed.
It’s true. They could have a “boring bitch” header. HEY …. your post could be the first one!
it’s a silly gimmick…. rather distasteful at that
They ARE always boring though…and stupid. They sound like the nattering voice of every vampiric “friend” I’ve had, sucking the life out of the day with their endless “why did he doooooo ittttttt, why doesn’t he love meeeee” self-analysis. I’ll still read them if they’re, like 2 sentences long, but any more than that, and it’s time to move on. Life is short.
It’s posts like ”Dear A. Call Me” that make us angry at you bitchers.
They deserve to be mocked. Just like the boring bus bitches, breakup bitches are all the same. It’s one of two things; either they’ve been dating for week after meeting at a party or it’s been a long term relationship and it’s ended be either party and they’re heartbroken, and will be forever.
They are all boring..
I wouldn’t think of it as biasing the reader…
it’s more like a warning that you’re never going to get the time spent reading the bitch back ever again so evaluate whether it’s worth losing….
well I guess that is kinda biased… but Tim’s usually pretty accurate and now I have a few extra minutes every day given back to me! It’s just another way the Coast shows it cares.
“The Coast…. helping people not waste their lives.”
Go with Tim. We do not go against The Tim.
Besides, there’s that nice orange tag that, when clicked, will archive all “boring break up” bitches for easy locating.
L O L ( nice Tim)
When you come to a private web site the owners & those who moderate the site can do just about what ever they like. Also for the record while it may not be boring to you many people find the break up stories to be BORING. while that may not be true for you & anyones break up story may be really riveting as far as you are concerned, your not going to get much if any sympathy here.
Look on the bright side “Your Free again”
As everyone said, they’re boring. All of them. They’re boring without the orange flag and they’re boring with the orange flag.
Who is the intended audience for the break up story anyway? Are you hoping Dr. Phil is one of the commentors and will say something so powerful your whole life will turn around? I honestly don’t get it.
lol “Dear A Call me” really is the most boring break up bitch ever. But there is some that I liked reading, like “why?” Its short and to the point, she just asks a simple question. Maybe its because I’m young and can relate to these people, but I think that breakups are very emotional parts of people’s lives and that they shouldn’t be chastized for expressing their feelings. I know that if they post it on a website like this one it is fair game and the editors can do whatever they want. All I’m saying is that not every single one is boring.
i dont think its as much being chastized for their feelings as the fact that they are rarely ever unique. relationships…especially those of the teen variety are very formulaic. boy meets girl through a friend, boy and girl fall in “love”, boy/girl either cheats or moves away. sad sad story. in a few weeks, what seemed the love or your life will seem as important as yesterday’s meatloaf.
i trust that those at the coast who peruse the posts have enough judgment to call a boring post when they read one.
ahhhh, yesterday’s meatloaf.
those were good times….
I’ll remember you tomorrow morning when I’m pinching off a duke in the urinal.
