Leaving work yesterday, I hurried to the bus stop to make sure I caught it on time. With the snow and all, it’s nearly impossible to ever know if it’s going to be late, ahead of schedule, or just not going to show up at all. 10 minutes, no bus. 15 minutes, no bus. 30 minutes….okay where the fuck is this bus. 45 minutes and no bus. After losing feeling in my toes and ears, and watching car after car drive by with each driver no doubt laughing at my suffering and the occasional car honk, I decide to start walking to a street frequented by more numbers of buses. Finally I get one….1h20m after leaving work! Is this what I get for my toonie and quarter? 1h20m of my time wasted only to end up sitting next to someone doused in drakkar noir. —Transfer Please

piss poor performance, i feel bad for you. i was at work, inside, and my toes were froze
I was driving home yesterday about 2 ish in the afternoon & the radio said “Buses are on snow schedual”…which they then went on to explain that all routes would/could be 45 minutes late or more !
My heater was working quite well & I had nice warm toes , sorry to hear you & paingirl had cold feet .
this happens to all of us at some time or other.fer instance, the other day, out back, waiting for a cab, this asshole comes out, and sprays fucking axe all over himself. and i get the overspray from this shit. i had to tell the cabbie that i had to cancel, and he charged me of course. went in, had shower, then went hunting the fuckhead. found out he don’t even live here. told the place where he came out of, when he shows again, he owes me a fucking 5 dollar bill for the cab i had to send away. people, control your fucking stinking sprays and whatever else you douse yourself in. others gag at the aroma you waft about you. worse than fucking cigarette smoke could ever be.
I had this same problem OB – waited 45 mins for a bus on a 15 minute schedule. Welcome to Halifax!
I like Drakkar.
Be thankful it’s drakkar and not Eau Du 6 Day Old Sweat and Cigarettes.
Look at it this way OB, according to your story, your 1h.20m of time is only worth the chump change you dumped into that loser cruiser. What street were you on? Maybe it was me driving by laughing at you….although if it was me, were you the one standing close to the street when I hit that slush puddle with my tires and got your pant legs wet? I hope so. LOL.
Yes, that is what you get for your toonie and a quarter in a storm.
“your 1h.20m of time is only worth the chump change you dumped into that loser cruiser.”
Are you like a bully from the 50s or something? Like the classic blond jock guy with a team jacket on?
What pisses me off about the buses is that usually when I go to catch them it’s on SGR in the late afternoon. And I’ll watch bus after bus go by toward downtown while there is nary a bus to be seen going opposite from downtown. Maybe I’m wrong but that time of day why do you need so many friggen buses going downtown when there’s clearly more people waiting to leave downtown. I know they’re probably all slowly dropping off people up in Clayton Park, Bedford highway, and so forth, but how about putting more buses on then. But no, every time I have to wait for 20-30 minutes, and not for some specialized bus either – I could take 4-6 different buses to get home. Come on. That’s why I prefer my bike, I can leave whenever I want.
There was a storm yesterday? Totally missed that one!
drakkar is better than B.O.
