Where’s my Friend?
Why is it that as soon as my friend gets a boyfriend it’s like we disappear?….. We of course have to pick up the pieces when it falls apart.

Don’t worry, friend – same shit used to happen to me when I was younger – wait a few years and, believe me, you won’t be able to get rid of her – she’ll come back in modified form – bitching about her suburbian life and hub-unit ad naseum. Then you’ll wish she had of stayed the fuck away.
My friend did the same thing with her friends once she got involved with someone. It my case, she was involved with a control freak that treated her like a piece of property. He didn’t want her going out with her friends even if he had something else to do with his buddies. But, when anything would happen we were the first people that she would run to time & time again. My friends and I got smart, knew we couldn’t help anyone wearing those rose colored glasses. We just walked away. Dealing with that crap is far to draining.
Or, don’t pick up her peices when she’s through with him. Let her suffer alone. Then she’ll know how you felt while she was off galavanting with a youngin’.
Save yourself the trouble and forget about the her
it is a basic human instinct to seek a mate, friends come and go, as that dude that sold that book says ‘she’s just not that into you’
to mwh we have been friends for 23 yrs. i think i’m here for the long run:) but i’m still aloud to complain.
yes u r allowed 2 complain but can ur ego take the fact that her finding a mate is more important than ur friendship (if she had 2 between u & a mate 4 life what do u think she’d do?)
