it’s sunday afternoon in highfield park in dartmouth, you were driving a gold 4 door sedan and while my 5 yr old and i were waiting for traffic to stop at the crosswalk you and your passenger just drove straight through… I’m not one of these people that jaywalk or cross in the middle of a street nor do i have my MP3 Player going at the volume of an aircraft. Trying to set an example for my son.. who after you drove by me and my son turned to me and said mommy.. he’s a big dummy and the police should throw him in jail..Hmmm pretty acurcate words from a primary student.. who even had his arm up. I hope that you are caught pulling that on someone and the police nail your assets to the wall … that’s how people get KILLED you Pompass Jerk!

  1. I’ve had the same thing happen to me about 12 times in the last 6 months on Wyse Rd./Faulkner.

Fuck people that can’t stop for crosswalks! Responsible crossers don’t just push the button and go, we look for assholes like this one. My best advice, take down the plate number if you can, and call that shit in. I’ve been hit before, so I don’t take this shit lightly.

  2. if you even HAVE a button.
This happens every week on my walk to work by the VG.
(the not stopping part, not the arm-flailing kid that insults and wills prosecution on random strangers)

until they build underpasses, bridges, or force-fields as you walk through, it won’t stop. All you can do is teach him the best ways not to get mowed down.

  3. Near-death by walking – happens all the time. I basically assume no one is going to stop… drivers sometimes get very annoyed (it seems) that I don’t start walking when they are slowing down, but I am totally paranoid and refuse to put my life into the hands of some idiot.

  4. Geesh zZz, hate much?

The kid had his arm up to cross the street, like they are taught, he wasn’t flailing his arms.

You don’t own a gold car do you?

  5. Saw a kid almost get plowed on Gottingen St the other day. A 4 way stop, the driver stopped and the kid started to walk. The driver then began to go and the kid had to jump back onto the sidewalk. I couldn’t believe it!

  6. I do too sometimes, RichieCanuck, and sometimes I wish that I would get clotheslined on a windshield wiper and get dragged all the way down Barrington. That’ll show those crazy drivers.

  7. I don’t own a gold car…. more of a tan-beige-ish-y thing really. My focus wasn’t on the little weirdo, it was on the tard not letting people cross, which happens to me all the time. I’m not a little kid either, I’d do some serious damage to a car that clipped my legs out with their bumper.
I’ve broken a windshield with my forehead before as well so I kinda know how it feels. I was a kid on mom’s lap when we went over a huge bump…which might explain some things….hmmmm.

  8. hahahah zZz, good story!

I remember riding in the cubby-hole of a VW bug in the back.

We were a family of six shoved in that thing!
