WHAT HAPPENED

But what kinds of hobbies did you have? What kinds of TV shows did you watch? What kinds of music did you like? My guess is that your friend, having studied philosophy, ceased to be interested in these trivialities. That’s what happened. You must do the same. You must take up the study of philosophy. Do so now.

It’s pretty obvious – you sound very needy. You can have everything in common but if you hang on too hard, people will bolt. Be your own best friend first.
