Where the fuck are we living again? I know that Nova Scotia can sometimes be a crap place to live (I’ve been here my whole life), but I’ve always believed that the basic decency of the people who are born and bred here supercedes any deficiencies; economic, social, political or otherwise.
I am not sure I can feel this way any longer. Many will say that this is an isolated incident, but it took a group of people to pull of this act of (true) terrorism, in a small community no less. I believe it would very hard for other people to not have had an inkling that this was gonna happen. Shame on you if you knew about this in advance (participant or not) and did nothing to stop it.

Having gone to numerous dances at the blue/green hall and being from near Noel Road, I can’t recall anything that could equate itself with what happened near Windsor. I skipped it and went straight to university and it’s a good thing too because at university you gain what’s called a “comprehensive” education enabling you to do a lot of things, not just one thing. This is what makes your community college so much cheaper. Well that and a lack of significant accreditation.
