Why is it that when a coworker is doing a bad job at work we all have to pay…..why cant management just grow some balls and go after that one person! Why do we have to sit and listen about work rules when there is only one worker breaking them and why is it that I am the only one pointing this out!!!!! As if noone else sits in the lunch room and bitches about this on a daily bases. Fu*k it would be nice to go to work and do the “job” and go home without all the extra “unpaid for” drama!!!!!

  1. Urm, yeah…. everybody occassionally makes a mistake at work. D’uh…even computers make mistakes from time to time. Are you trying to say you don’t, OP???
Some mistakes get called out, others don’t. And the reason your bosses address the empolyees as a whole, is to prevent a mistake already made being from being repeated by OTHERS. Simple, really.

  2. Actually, I can sort of empathize with the OP. I work for a large financial institution and over the past 5 years have worked with quite a few incompetent workers who have gotten away with a lot of stuff without getting fired. In this day and age it seems you need to do something illegal before you can get let go.

  3. 9 times out of 10……The employers hands are tied as it is very difficult to get rid of someone….

It’s called employment laws and human rights commissions…..

    Sucks doesn’t it.

  4. They can’t single someone out, it’s too apparent, lawsuits, liability, etc. So everyone knows who / what the problem is, but can’t say outright. Nothing new there.

  5. because most companies are run by assholes.that’s why i choose to start my own security type business.to all those poor suckers working for someone else,i really feel sorry for you all.

  6. they are probably trying to get the rest of you riled up so you will pressure that person into behaving properly.

  7. It also depends on where/what kind of work you’re in. If there is high demand for people to fill positions within the company, (which seems to be the case in a lot of places these days) it’s going to take a lot more than being late every second day and forgetting to cross some t’s to let someone go. It’s unfortunate when you see someone consistently bending the rules and seemingly get away with it. Pisses me off too, but I have learned that they will always remain where they are while those that DO adhere to policies move on………

  8. Anyone on our crews that can’t and don’t pull they’re weight . Or fuck up constantly , are let go . Office and union environments , seems to me , are abit harder to get any feedback from management . Or have management take it up with a slack ass retard .

OP ever think to bring it straight to the slacker/fuck up ? I won’t and don’t take up anyones slack on my jobs . Why do you – especially “unpaid” . Homework in school is unpaid . Why the hell you working unpaid hours in your employment? Fuck that shit , work is work and when your working , you’re on the clock as far as i’m concerned .
