Apparently I must have pissed off the organics guys today by pulling into my driveway when they were next door because they definetly showed it with their actions. My green cart was conveniently put directly in the center of the end of the driveway…funny thing is its the only one on the whole street that is blocking the homeowners driveway. This may not seem like a big deal but look at it this way…coming home from a 8 hr workday to find that you are going to have to stop the car, get out, move the bin and then get back in is kind of a letdown or that extra couple mins it would take for me to get out if there was ever an emergency with my toddler.(In very extreme circumstances, just going with the worst case scenario) I think its disgusting that WM employees would take out a minor traffic misunderstanding on someone when they are on the job. It may not be policy to not block driveways when returning the cart, but the decent thing to do would be to put it back where it had been placed for pickup. To make my point more clear..its not the fact I had to move it that I am upset about. It is the principle that they would be vengeful in the first place.
Oh and Sobeys guy that just stared in my face while blocking the carts, only to pretend to give me one, and then hold it like you were a tough guy, you’re lucky I didn’t spit in your face.
I wish there was like a school for idiots that you could send even complete strangers to. When people make dumb moves you just call a number and a big white van comes and takes them away to the school and doesn’t let them out til they are no longer assholes….sorry my wishes rarely make sense

I cant say anything about the guy at the grocery store, but waste removal people put up with alot of shit from other people. They work in all kinds of weather, in dangerous conditions, and with hazardous materials to boot. Just because they are taking away your trash doesnt mean you have the right to be rude to them. Maybe next time you will be a little more considerate to someone who is trying to do his job. Or maybe next time he will refuse your green bin and put one of those big orange stickers on it. Maybe he will do that to your green bin and garbage for the next three months. Think about that the next time you are inconsderate to someone who provide an essential service.
