About a month ago (give or take), everyone was up in arms about a young woman who took her life….

People were disgusted and outraged by the circumstances which surrounded her demise that led her to her end.

Outcries for justice were called, society was up in arms, answers were demanded!

But as time passed, the voices became dimmer. The questions, shrugged off.

When no one speaks of this horror, it turns into a ghost story; a gruesome tale to be forgotten when the lights come on.

This cannot be the case. Far from it. If we do not speak up for the victim’s of bullying; then who will.

This has to fucking stop

It is becoming a frequent tragic tale that takes away many without warning….

Yet many more can survive; we can learn, and hopefully… maybe… we can reach out to those in pain, and assist them through their dark time….

This shit happens, it’s enough to make a chick’s mind snap

  1. op because people have to live their lives.

You know what i’m talking about. You got inspired and wrote this bitch but you’re out there living your life just like everybody else.

Stop the bigger than jesus thing. it’s annoying.

  2. In the last month scarcely a day has gone by without some mention of this girl, her family or her case being in the news in some form or another. Parents meeting the P.M.,inquiries, vigils, memorial concerts, etc. Her Dad has become the media go-to guy for any story involving bullying, rape or suicide, and rightly so. There is no lack of “human face” on this story.
Currently an immature little shitstain from ******* is looking at possibly being charged with making and distributing child pornography , essentially for being a despicable douchebag. Then again, as another bitch indicates, the penalty is a joke and the Y.J.A. will make it even more laughable.
I’m afraid I have no answers.
I’m not trying to be facetious but I am very glad that this isn’t India. Or even worse, one of those “enlightened” parts of the world where rape is considered to be a crime perpetrated by women, against men.

  3. Crayons is my new favourite poster. She’s right. People have lives. Personally I’m glad the news on the topic is gone so I can read legitimate news about Rob Ford, invasive hog weed and big ass sharks.

At least now I don’t have to read those moronic posts by that idiot Fat Apollo about the issue. Even Homer 300 was considered a local celebrity in his town.

  4. I guess you weren’t paying attention this week, were you OB? There was a related arrest and charge of “production and distribution of child porn” laid on a 14 year old boy from Dartmouth, with very similar circumstances surrounding facebook usage and bullying.

  5. We really need to examine our use of the words bully and victim and their use in application to real-life situations. We need to do that without bias and emotion. Until then, this is all nonsense.
