  1. Y’mean like Victoria Day weekend when we had 3 sunny days in a row and temps in the mid to high 20’s. 2 Whole weeks ago.

  2. yeah, sucked I had to work that one…
it’s going to pick up. just give it time.
aren’t you loving this wicked humidity?

  3. It’s like trying to sleep in a bed of corn syrup with graham crackers crumbled up into it.

  4. painy, would you settle for a place in the woods, used for hunting, it’s up in the trees a bit.

  5. We’ve had some excellent weekends. Some your complaining. One weekend of rain….boo hoo for you.

  6. we can have whatever your little heart desires, and i’ll even shave, any parts you want.

  7. you say the sweetest things lifey, but ya know i’d have to bring the bear and the big dog

  8. yeah, i know, and that wouldn’t be a whole lot of fun, but i’ll be waiting, ah sometimes.

  9. What are you talking about, Sebastian? The weather has been absolute shit this spring! One nice day every ten does not constitute decent weather.

That means you are living a place with shitty weather. Which I think we all admit, Halifax is….

And don’t give me that Bluenoser bullshit about how nice the fall is. The fall is nice EVERYWHERE! Fall is a nice season – Victoria to St John’s. All have nice weather in the fall. Nova Scotia’s fall is 5% better than average at most. That is a scientific fact which was published, I believe in ‘Nature’ or maybe ‘Science’. Look it up.

  10. as do i jdp21, i love running nude in the rain, back at my little hunting place, and no one to say fuck all about it. but it might be just me, thinking that people have lost the fun of life. what about you ttfn, ever run in the rain nude, bet you have.

  11. The only thing worse than living somewhere with shit weather is hearing people complain about it everyday, “It’s raining!”, “It’s cold”, “It’s hot”, “It’s snowing”, it’s STFU! I work across the hall from a place where old people are every single day and we’re also right by a door leading to outside so all I ever hear is old people talking about the weather. YES it rains here and is often shitty in the summer, GET OVER IT and shut up!!

  12. Haha. I agree melectric (although, like I said, I like the rain). I notice it all the time working in customer service. People complain and bitch and moan about the rain for weeks and weeks (as it`s always like this), and then when it gets hot, people are like, “It’s too hot!”

  13. i miss ontario thunderboomers, the tornadoes i can live without…weather is fun, especially in halifax. it’s snowing, raining, sleeting, holy cow there’s a rainbow it’s warmer and the wind has shifted directions

  14. I can handle rain just fine. What pisses me off is when it rains in Halifax, it rains for a week. I’m not from Halifax but I am from NS. I don’t remember it raining this much 10-15 years ago. In the last 5 years or so, it seems like it rains more than the sun shines. Especially in late May, early to mid June.

  15. you want shitty spring; frigg’n island i’m on the highest it’s been is like 17 ONE DAY; it’s rained like 7 out of the last 8 days brutal; On. where I’m from like 1 day rain in the last 2 weeks 20-23 eveyday 🙁

  16. It’s funny how just about a week or 2 ago there was an article on the CBC website about how the lake levels are at 20-30 year lows from one of the driest springs ever. This rain is a very good thing.

  17. I like telling folks from away “If you don’t like the weather in Nova Scotia…then go home and fuck your dead mother in the ass a bit more!”
Heh, Heh, Heh – destroying the myth of Canada’s Ocean Playground one tourist at a time.
Embrace your inner bully, embrace him.

  18. we’d better.
that’s what they were predicting for last Saturday by wednesday…
and look at how crappy that was.

I’ll believe it when I see it stay as is until friday morning.

  19. May is the wettest month on the calender, with about 14 days on average having at least 1mm of rain. So, complaining about rain in May is like complaining about how LS can’t spell.

Get a good rain jacket. Don’t waste money on an umbrella.

  20. Suck on this, bitches: past 35 days = 32 sunny days in QC.

Today I laid my ass out in the sun for 4 hours scantly clad. I’m living it up because it’s not like I’ll ever see the sun again when I get back to haliboring in a few days.

  21. aah, you’re coming back pk…hope your toilets remain spoon free and clean

  22. Who’s taking a spoon to the toilet?

With Alberta getting snow and Ontario tornados, I have been very appreciative of our spring.
