Here’s my bitch, and you’ve got to admit it’s fucking infuriating, not to mention dangerous. I’m talking about all you idiot drivers (really, think about it, it’s just plain STUPID) who slam on your BRAKES first and THEN put on your turn signals. HELLLLLOOOO!!! The purpose of the turn signal, you benighted dummies, is to tell the driver behind you that you’re soon, very soon, going to be applying your brakes. That’s why you HAVE turn signals in your cars. What the fuck is the point of telling the guy behind you: “The reason you just smashed into the back of my car is that I was going to be turning here!”? So you SIGNAL FIRST and THEN apply the brakes. Can this possibly be so difficult for you to grasp? Apparently so, since, in my experience, the vast majority drivers in these parts brake first, then signal. Some (my special favorites) come to a complete stop, then tell you why, as an afterthought. It’s just stupid! Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid! And did I mention stupid? How did this happen? I see everyone doing this now — most regular drivers, bus drivers, cops, ambulance drivers, truckers. And don’t even get me started on the total head-up-your-own-arse morons who don’t bother to signal at all. Stop it. Now. It’s IDIOTIC. Here, let’s say it again, all together now: SIGNAL FIRST, THEN BRAKE. Got it? Good job!! —I Thought These Bitches Were Anonymous?

Guess what. If you do slam into their arse end it’s your own fucking fault not theirs. You would have been following too damn close. You do know that cars come with brake lights as well.
Simply said if you were not directly on their ass this would not be an issue.
That’s why they have the “two-second rule” in effect. For those of you who have not read the drivers handbook lately, that means you leave enough space between you and the vehicle in front of you that you pass a landmark 2 seconds after they do.
2 seconds is only good for “ideal” driving conditions, but even in crap conditions it’d be nice if people drove this way (in addition to the whole “use your signal lights properly” thing).
If I see the brake lights on the car in front of me, I slow down.
So, what you are saying is that unless the drivers uses their turn signal, I should assume they are not slowing down?

It’s simply an inconvenience. Why use it at all if you’re not going to use it in advance? Just one small step being a little helpful to the people around you. It’s really not that hard…
