OK, so a bunch of twats get arrested for possession of narcotics on school property and now they ALL get restorative justice or adult diversion!!??
Does anyone else think this is retarded? Aren’t these programs for people that screw up once and are believed to not commit the crime again? Don’t get me wrong, I am sure that some of the people involved deserve to be in one of those programs, but ALL OF THEM? If someone is taking drugs to high school they know its wrong.
So we just wasted a bunch of time arresting and writing up reports on these delinquents and now they can just forget about it? It was reported on the radio that this was not a free ticket …

The same thing happened at my high school. This idiot was selling E outside of the office and he got in “trouble” I guess. Nothing bad happened to him. And I think he’s been to court like a couple other times regarding drugs and stealing and the judge didn’t really do anything because he didn’t believe he had his life together enough because he changed address 20 times in one year. Yeah..he doesn’t have his life together enough to go to jail or be fined. Super.
the real waste is that they are basically getting off free and clear. so, big fucking deal if they are little punk bastards, throw them in fucking waterville with the rest of the shit, oh sorry, clients. that’s the word they use now, nice little word isn’t it. what the hell ever happened to inmate, you know, a convicted person, doing actual fucking time. so, how much more shit will they get into, while thumbing their little punk noses at a very flawed fucking justice system. look at the older punks that are still running rampant in this city and country. time to start taking out the fucking trash, people.

If you look at the studies you will find that young offenders are least likely to re-offend if diverted from the penal system via things like restorative justice and councilling.
