Dear Westerner;
You all have a number of very nice qualities, and I am happy to have you here. But, I don’t understand why some of you are here since you seem to hate it so much. Every day you complain about the rain, the temperature, lack of entertainment for your child, the driving conditions, our education system (even though your kid isn’t in school yet) and our accents.
I am sure you miss your home and that the weather there is more what you are used to. I have lived in different provinces, so I can understand that.
But, what I have no patience for are the constant insinuations that Nova Scotians are inherently inferior to residents of other provinces. We aren’t stupid. Just stop it. If anyone is stupid, it is the person who manages to get themselves stuck somewhere they didn’t want to be and then proceeds to bitch constantly about the place they find themselves and the people by whom they are surrounded and then fails to understand why they are unable to develop relationships.

TAKE COVER!!!!!
Kay-bomb in 3…2…1…
I’m sure that person is just as negative back home.
But just the same, I wish people would move to whatever place makes them happy. I am in NS because I am perfectly suited to its geography, climate, and culture. I wouldn’t be here otherwise. My life wouldn’t make sense in Toronto or the prairies or hundreds or other places.
Is this bitch about kay?? Or is there more like her… *gulp*
Kay is so popular around here…
I’m from Alberta and I’ve lived in BC. I came to NS of my own accord and I’ll never leave of my own accord. I have no idea whats so great about west of NB…….
lol Luthor… There’s no post from it yet, no doubt it’s still writing the novel/post…
Silence is golden….
Granted, I haven’t travelled a whole lot but I haven’t been to a place yet that I declared I couldn’t live in…
Every place has its own intricacies and I suppose I just must be good at adapting.
Again, I’m not quite as worldly as some… and Texas would likely be a tough one being so damn hot all the time, but I wouldn’t count it out until spending some time there.
