  1. Work on your education. Take control of your own life. Don’t leave it in the hands of others or you will always be miserable.

  2. Fuck yeah! Right on! I’ve been going to work everyday for all these years for nothing. No medical/dental, no employee stock options or a pension. Oh wait, I get all those things, lol.

  3. I saw a post my friend (now unfriended) made on Facebook about how pissed off she was that welfare was cutting off this, or they never gave her enough money for that. It took ever fibre of my being not to tell her to get a job. Look, if you don’t want to work and contribute to society — fine. We live in a country that enables you to be a lazy twat. But don’t complain about not having money for extra’s, you contribute nothing to society and everyone else is paying your way. Fuck off and die.

Don’t forget 3 weeks vacation time, sick days and family days which of course can be accumulated.

  5. If you are able-bodied get a job. Able-bodied people who refuse to work are direct contributors to the failed TFW program. Can’t get by on minimum wage so staying home and doing nothing for less money is the answer? Right. Tell that to all the disabled folks who would love the opportunity to work at any job that provides more than the subsistance and indignity of being on welfare.

  6. Ah someone else who think the government should give them money for doing nothing. Here’s a novelty, if you are not sick or infirmed, get a job. There are jobs out there. They may not be the best paying but they are out there.

  7. Welfare should only be used if you really need the help. You get those limited funds to motivate your ass to get out and work. I’ve been on it and I hated being on it but had no choice. So I took advantage of what they offered to get a job. Now I have a job and it feels a lot better than depending on one check a month. So take it as a hint to get out and start looking for a job. I truly hope hope the op is not one of those people who make the honest ones look bad. The ones who abuse the system piss me off and make it harder for the people who really want to better themselves.

  8. “does anyone work there” … you don’t work, “pay a decent wage” for what? So you can sit on your ass and complain. Get a Job.

  9. Currently unemployable, in and out of hospital, don’t qualify for disability. $400/mo keeps me alive, but I don’t really live.
