To the fuck stick in the red Dodge Caravan who STOPPED on the bridge to clear your wipers, you’re a fucking idiot. Stopping on the bridge, rush hour in a snow storm to clear your wipers is idiotic. Obviously you never learned any common sense or courtesy.

I always opened my window, grabbed the wiper and gave it a flick when the ice would build up. Until I got my brother to do the same thing on the other side, once. Somehow, he lost the tip of his finger doing it. It was very gross to notice a slug on my windshield, then blood running down my brother’s arm and then to put the two events together.
Anyway = ),
I think stopping on the bridge, especially during a storm, would be much more dangerous and risky than giving your wipers a flick as you drive.
hmmm, what’s more dangerous?
A) Red Dodge Caravan stopped on the bridge
B) Blind guy driving Red Dodge Caravan on the bridge
Bit of a no-brainer, isn’t it, Bullet ?
or learned to read, it states there is no stopping on bridge, except emergencies only, and that would not be so classed, slam in the ass of them next time.
There’s a superseding rule that says you’re not permitted to drive blind. I would think the sudden loss of visibility quickly becomes an emergency worth stopping for… I think this bitch is really really sad. It shows how much people give a shit about other people in these parts. No tolerance, just me me me me me.
It’s pretty dumb to stop on the bridge and the guy should have had better wipers but, if you can’t see where you are going, your vehicle shouldn’t be moving. It takes a lot longer to clear an accident off the bridge then to wait for a guy to clean his windshield.
if the dickweed in the van had trouble seeing at the top of the bridge, they likely had trouble seeing before they got to the bridge, and should have pulled over then to clean their windshield properly.
I had nothing to do with ‘ME” you fucking dip shit. Stopping on the fucking bridge is endangering to all other people on it, and the asshole who stopped. If necessary, stick your head out the fucking window until you get to a safe place to stop, again, common sense or something you’re very well short of as well. Driving blind as you so put it is the fault of the same said idiot, too fucking lazy to clear off the whole van. I don’t have tolerance for ignorant people that don’t or won’t prepare, and that includes clearing your vehicle of potential hazards.
“stick your head out the fucking window until you get to a safe place to stop” falls quite short of “common sense” under the Traffic Act I know and follow. Whatever.
Put on your flashers, ‘tap’ your brakes a few times if necessary to get the attention of the harried, distracted and late-for-dinner commuters behind you…and stop the vehicle to clear the wipers as quickly as possible.
Anything else, including reaching out and “flicking” the wipers (which I do as well), driving without being able to see, and driving with your head out the window is more dangerous than a temporary stop in a slow-moving traffic queue.
I especially recommend avoiding sticking ones head out the side of the car in a slippery road situation, lol.
Hey LifeSucks…..slamming into the ass of them would only result in him suing you….Rearending someone is never that persons fault, but the person behind…so try that and let me know how that goes for ya…..
*rolls eyes*
Frenchie that’s false. It depends on the circumstances.
sorry to say, Kay and Bad mr are correct with the thought process. the guy would have been a greater danger driving without the ability to see. regardless of the state before or after, he took immediate action to rectify his visibility concerns.and i agree, the 30 seconds it took for the guy to be safer shouldnt really have affected “RUSH HOUR” traffic as OP originally said, it probably cleared 3 feet in front of his bumper on the bridge. fucking lighten up OP, or next time he wont clean his wiper to see and ram your family from behind killing them all. Then you couldnt bitch about it.
Frenchie and Bro Tim, you’re both wrong – it depends on whether or not the “slam in the ass” was consensual.
I wont claim to know the circumstances of this story, but I have to wonder…if his windshield was covered in snow affecting his visibility, this couldn’t have magically happened in the 2 minutes it takes you to cross the bridge. I would hazard a guess that the guy didn’t clean off his windshield and/or waited until the last minute before realizing “hey, I’m not going to make it to work before this small hole I peering out of fills up, I should fix that”. Yes, if his visibility is shot I can see him stopping on the bridge to clear the snow off, but why the hell did it get that bad in the first place??
record his plate number and file a citizens complaint with the police for obstruction of traffic.
i love the little igloos that roll around our roads…great you can see out of a small circle
driver must be from Ontario
In the Province I live in it is against the law to drive your motor vehicle if you don’t have proper wipers. Motor Vehicle Act Offense Section 184 (6) -2 demerit points.
But that is in the real world…not the fantasy world some here live in !
I’m sure there’s at least 1 person who comes here who attempt to twist this. But no matter how you try to justify buddy stopping his vehicle in a no stopping zone He was in the WRONG !
& I quoted the offense that he broke before he ever got near the bridge, & if he wasn’t breaking that law…he wouldn’t have had to stop !
First mistake was buying a Dodge Caravan
