Yes, I was hired to work weekends. I am well aware of this. But if I want to take one weekend off since I started working at your shitty store that doesn’t give you the right to treat me like I am a fucking piece of dirt. You may think you have power and authority sitting at your all mighty podium, but I am the one working towards my second degree. I can’t wait for the day you realize that stupid supervising position is all you will ever have you dumb bitch. I can’t wait until next week when I start my new job and quit on your fat ugly ass. —Pissed Off Employee

Why wait ?
Quit now, take the week end off, & get yourself recharged for your new position.
Don’t quit…..just stop going. Keep them waiting and wondering. Don’t answer the phone or emails from them. Fuck the stupid local retailers.
You are leaving in a week and are crying because they would not give you the weekend off? DTMFA.
want a weekend off o.p., then take it, and say that it was for a pagan religeous purpose.
Do what I do when my boss asks why I want a weekend off, Its none of your business, I followed your procedure for taking the time off (which is in place to allow for them to cover the shit) and leave it at that…
The above post reminded me of a situation recently when I inquired with HR if my health coverage was valid for an upcoming trip. Each month we get an update and the countires change for a variety of reasons (Travel to Libya is not covered this month!).
Anyway, I have full coverage for my destination but was asked to submit a….wait for it…. a detailed itinerary! ~ R U Nutz! Screw me, I will be on vacation and it is nunyerbiznez where I will be at any given point in time for its duration……..not even sending ya a postcard!
but koda, if you get in shit in a place that isn’t covered, you are fuck out of luck. they used to call it high risk areas.
I can see it now: Some punk who dresses better than half the people on SGR panhandling on Gottingen. 8 seconds later, all you’d see is kicking feet. And no witnesses.
