I’m glad someone spoke up– I had no idea bitches weren’t getting posted.

But apparently, those of you on Explorer 6 or 7 have not been able to post—everyone else is OK, I think. We’re now aware of the problem, and people with glasses and pocket protectors are busy addressing it.

Commence Mac v PC debate now…..

  1. Nuts to all of you. Linux is much better and best of all, completely customizable, and more stable than either one, especially when running a 64 bit processor. I’ve used Firefox 3.0 and have had no issues whatsoever.

  2. You guys should all try Windows 7, the beta is out, and it’s quite nice. I am enjoying it and I much prefer a Mac, I just can’t afford one.

Also, can we get more recent comments than 2? 5 or 6 would be nice like before.

  3. C. Mike Hunt: you are INSANE. Vista’s such an incredibly bloated piece of shit. I was perfectly happy with XP but when the time came to get a new comp I just couldn’t do vista so I went with mac and I’m oh so happy I did.

Some things annoy me with mac (like say msn. msn for mac sucks balls, and office for mac is kind of lame, but other than that…).

My macbook boots in less than 30 seconds, whereas my dad’s BRAND FUCKING NEW laptop with vista takes over a minute and he has twice as much ram as my macbook! Pathetic.

  4. If you have to use windows, find yourself a copy of XP pro. That is the pinnacle of Windows, and shall continue to be until Vista gets a couple of more service packs.

  5. naa, i think they’ll skip it and move on to 7. I think 7 will be the last one too, after that it will just be fixes and updates, as it should. vista has overkill security and compatibility problems that will never let it catch on with IT departments, even with service packs. plus, its like 50 million lines of code, more than XP pro and all of its updates combined. open-source is the future, linux to the death. by the way, think tim really meant to provoke this debate? haha

  6. Meh, it’s fun nonetheless. Server 2008 came out just a few months ago, and it’s here to stay, meaning those IT depts are gonna have to deal with it, because MSoft will cut off support for Sever 2003 which is the standard which most corporations use.

  7. I like my linux world so many fewer problems when web developers say “Fuck MS we’re following the damn standard” and properly code web pages.

I do just have to laugh at all the smug Max users, enjoying Darwin are we? The huge Unix ripoff Apple did? You’re welcome.

Oh and Tim I don’t have a pocket protector who in their right mind would want one of those, they send the ladies running faster than… damn I can’t think of anything that sends them almost as fast.

  8. “If you have to use windows, find yourself a copy of XP pro. That is the pinnacle of Windows, and shall continue to be until Vista gets a couple of more service packs.”

I would have to disagree there. The bootleg version of XP without all the bloat is the best I’ve come across. you can still get updates but the install is only around 1 gig… not that I *cough* condone that sort of thing…

and vista can suck Gingers balls….
there’s a reason Microshaft are skipping it.

Can’t we just all dual-boot and get along?

    (Except Pretty Kitty… I wouldn’t touch a Mac with a 10 foot stripper pole)

  9. Actually XP pro SP2 is extremely stable, and on my work computer, it functions perfectly fine. Don’t upgrade to SP3. By they way, you don’t have to get bootleg copies, go to an out of the way computer shop and you can find an OEM copy of XP Pro for a decent price. Redhat Linux is better than all of them.

  10. OK – don’t know if anyone is following this thread, but if you are, this problem should be fixed. Can the IE users out thee give it a try? Thanks.

  11. Still not working, Andy. The “thank you for your submission” message comes up now, but apparently you still are not recieving said submission. Otherwise I’m sure my very eloquent bitch would have got posted yesterday 😉
